Timeline: Rolling applications → decisions each quarter → funds released within 14 days of award.

CRITERIA

We prioritize:

  • Readiness: clear plan, defined next step, ability to execute.
  • Impact: meaningful change for the applicant (and ideally their community).
  • Integrity: alignment with AMBITIOUS BEAN values.
  • Stewardship: how funds will be used and measured.
CADENCE

Selection cadence: Monthly reviews, quarterly awards. Applicants/nominators are updated via email and/or phone.

WHAT WE FUND

  • Start-up essentials: tools, training, first inventory, licensing.
  • Career pivots: certifications, short courses, portfolio development.
  • Stability bridges: small grants that unlock the next step (childcare support for training, a refurbished laptop, transportation to work).
  • Community micro-projects: local events, workshops, or resources that uplift many.

(We do not fund ongoing personal expenses without a clear path to progress.)
